BC looks to win its second-straight home game
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– Second-ranked Boston College welcomes No. 14 Western Michigan to Kelley Rink on Saturday for the first-ever meeting between the two teams. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+ and WEEI 850 AM. Tickets are available at BCEagles.com or by calling 617-552-GoBC.
PRE-GAME HOCKEY HOUR
• Join other BC fans before the gamefor hospitality from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
• Admission is free and open to the general public; food and beverage will be available for purchase
• The event is located in the south endzone of Alumni Stadium
• Fans can enter the stadium through Gate A or Gate D
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles improved to 2-1-0 after defeating AIC by a score of 5-0 last Friday in its home opener
• Western Michigan is 3-0-0 thus far with wins over Ferris State (4-1, 5-1) and Bowling Green (6-2)
• BC has added seven newcomers to a roster of 27 players, including six freshmen and one transfer
• Represented among the newcomers are five forwards and two defensemen

HOME OPENER
• The Eagles opened the home slate in dominating fashion with a 5-0 win over AIC
• Five different players scored as Aram Minnetian, Gabe Perreault, Will Vote, Will Skahan and James Hagens each lit the lamp
• Jacob Fowler made 20 saves to record his second shutout of the season
• Minnetian and Skahan each posted one assist two finish the night with two points
• Both Perreault and Hagens also added two assists to finish with three points apiece
• Vote scored his team-high third goal
• Perreault's goal came on the power-play, the second PP goal of the season for the Eagles

• The Eagles have won its last 11 games at Kelley Rink dating back to last season

• Zach Nehring and Grant Slukynsky both have five points through three games
• Cameron Rowe and Hampton Slukynsky have both seen time between the pipes, combining for 68 saves and a .944 saves percentage
• Nehring was named the NCHC Rookie of the Week after recording two goals and one assist against Bowling Green
