Is Taylor Swift about to sweep the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards?

On Wednesday, MTV unveiled the complete list of nominations for the upcoming annual European awards show, which airs live from Paris Nov. 5 on MTV and Pluto TV as well as on-demand via Paramount+. Swift leads the pack with nods in seven categories, while Olivia Rodrigo and SZA tie for second-most with six each.

This year's ceremony sees 26 artists receive their first-ever nominations, including BTS' Jung Kook with his first three nods as a solo artist. Additionally, the awards show welcomes a brand-new best Afrobeats category with Asake, Aya Nakamura, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, DavidoandRema up for the trophy.

Voting is open to fans at the MTV EMA website through Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m. CET. However, the biggest fans and best group categories will be decided via social media votes on the awards show's account closer to the show, and the best video winner will be decided by MTV.

The show also features 24 best local act categories, highlighting artists in different regions around the world, and fans in each area can vote for the winners on the MTV EMA website.
